Follow the Pretreatment Formulas:-
- Avoid swimming, bleaching, dyeing, threading, waxing facials 4 days before and 5 days after peels.
- Discontinue retinol or alpha hydroxyl creams a week before therapy.
- For men don’t shave 2 days before and 2 days after therapy.
- Inform the doctor if your on any other rejuvenating cosmetics.
After your treatment with Micro or Chemo Peels:-
- No soap for 24 hrs.
- Gentle washes with plain water are enough.
- Mild redness for a few hours to 2 days happens and is often temporary, if worrisome ice cold compresses can be used.
- Dryness may be experienced and emollients advised.
- Don’t rub or scratch the area.
- Sun protection is a must, avoid direct sunlight.
- Regular use of recommended sunscreen to be continued.
